Do's and Don'ts

  What we can do

   • provide general editing of responsibly-prepared text drafts;

  • facilitate copyright protection, register the ISBN, gain the cover bar code and compose the title page

   • format the completed text in accordance with printing conventions;

   • disperse royalty payments;

   • develop reasonable marketing plans within available budgets;

  • publish texts in quality paperback and Kindle e-text formats;

  • promote completed works;

   • provide readers’ access to published works on our site and at our e-store;

  • receive a very nominal percentage (less than most trade publishers) of the proceeds, giving more than half the profit to the author;

  • offer advice and/or options for those who have been disillusioned by other publishers;

  • be sincere in our opinion of any author’s work, in our reasons why we may not accept it, and in our best wishes for his success however he is able to pursue it;

   • provide a vital service for motivated writers and media producers who seek a cost-effective way to get ideas into marketable formats.

   What we will not do

   • ‘ghostwrite’ improperly prepared texts, or remedy major errors in a work when this should be a fundamental part of the writer’s own preparation;

  • charge money for preliminary services;

   • treat the author as our customer (Your readers are our customers-- we want to earn money from them, not you!);

  • disrepect, disparage or discourage any authors;

  • let our personal preferences intervene in recognizing a worthy text that evinces a clear potential for being lucratively marketed;

  • ever be able to receive, digest, market and profit from every piece of work that comes our way-- because we’re just not big enough to be able to; but, even so, we’re sorry for that.
